Green Stewardship

One way that all of us can serve is by practicing what we at St John call Green Stewardship. Being a "green steward" means that we take seriously God's call to care for all of creation. God has given us a beautiful world to live in, and in gratitude for this gift, we are called to care for it.

Our most recent Green Stewardship project has been the installation of foam gaskets in the outlets along our exterior walls-- a very easy (& yes, very inexpensive) way to cut down on heat loss. You may purchase gaskets from any hardware or box store to complete this project in your own home.
