Grief

During a time of grief and sadness you will find caring and supportive companions at St John. Trained volunteers as well as pastoral staff are eager to walk with you on your journey through grief to growth.

Loss of any kind can interrupt our usual routine unexpectedly. The feelings and emotions associated with loss can be overwhelming and unfamiliar. There are many resources at St John that are available for you to use during this time. Please contact the church office (319.268.0165).

Grief Group

Pastor Don Feuerhak facilitates a Grief Group for anyone experiencing the death of a family member or friend. Pr. Don is recently retired from ministry at Fredsville Lutheran Church and has extensive experience in chaplaincy and grief recovery. Anyone who is grieving is welcome.
