| Promises Student Ministries at St. John seek to provide resources, training, and programming that encourages and supports parents and students to fulfill the promises made at Baptism and Confirmation. ::A Promise Made By Parents at Baptism:: In Christian love you have presented these children for Holy Baptism. You should therefore faithfully- bring them to services of God's house; teach them the Lord's Prayer, the Creed, and the Ten Commandments; place in their hands the Holy Scriptures; provide for their instruction in the Christian faith -so that, linving in the covenant of their baptism and in communion with the Church, they may lead godly lives until the day of Jesus Christ.
