The Youth Ministry at St. John works to help our youth, their families and their leaders to continue their faith journey and walk in the way of a disciple of Jesus Christ.  We hope this is a place for students to learn about community, build healthy relationships, and grow in their faith.  Our desire is that this is an open and welcoming community to all God's children. We offer weekly Bible studies, Confirmation classes, game nights, retreats, lock-ins and group outings.

What does Youth Ministry at SJLC look like?

Our Confirmation program uses the Colaborate Curriculum from sparkhouse, and each lesson focuses on a "big question" that the students get to discuss in their small groups. We provide community and team building activities in large group, as well as giving them background on the lesson for the week. They are then sent to small group to discuss and dive deeper into the lesson for the week. REGISTER NOW!

Junior High

Junior High students have the opportunity to participation in Confirmation on Sunday mornings, as well as Youth Group Nights held every other Wednesday, and other activities/events randomly scheduled during the year. Youth Group Night is focused on building healthy relationships with peers and learning how God wants us to live our daily lives.  

High School

High School students can share in the Youth Group Night held every other Wednesday with the Junior High students.  We work with the students to find times for other activities and meetings in their busy lives.
